Thousands of cases of Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing have been recalled due to the presence of “foreign objects.”
The objects are “black plastic planting material” found in the granulated onion.
The recalled dressings were distributed to retailers nationwide, including Costco and other retailers in 27 states.
The states include Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The affected product was also distributed to one customer in Costa Rica.
Consumers who may have purchased the item have been warned not to consume the dressing and return the bottle for a refund.
