Need an extra chore to do while it’s raining? When’s the last time you cleaned your kitchen’s range hood?
If you can’t remember, it might be time for a deep clean. Apparently cleaning the range every other month makes it work a lot more efficiently. Cleaning it less or not at all can actually be dangerous. Things can start growing up there and it stops filtering out the exhaust… and worse, things can fall into what you’re cooking!
It’s pretty easy to clean, you turn off the power and wipe the hood using a microfiber cloth and a degreasing solution for a thorough clean, allowing the filters to soak for 15-30 minutes.
