A 9-year-old boy was absolutely thrilled when he was told he’d be Elvis the Elf in his school performance. He was supposed to dress like an elf—just like all the other kids—but he only heard one thing: Elvis.
When he told his parents, they questioned him more than once, but he was adamant. “Nope. I get to be the star—Elvis!”
So, trusting his confidence, his parents bought him a full Elvis costume. It wasn’t until the day of the performance, when twelve kids walked out on stage dressed as elves, that the parents realized their son had been a little confused.
There he was—decked out as Elvis—standing among a sea of elves. The parents said they kept waiting for Elvis to somehow be worked into the play… but it never happened
